Library Support for Online Classes and Research
Accessing Online Library Resources
Trexler Library has many online resources available through the library website. If you have trouble accessing resources, see the Off-Campus Access page for help. Contact information and tips for finding online resources can be found on the Accessing Online Resources page.
Print Resources and Interlibrary Loans
If you need a Trexler Library print book for your class or research, we will send it to your home by mail. Submit a request by using the “Request Item through Interlibrary Loan” button on the Encompass record or using the appropriate ILL form. To have a book delivered, you must include your mailing address in the Notes field. Requests for a journal/magazine article or book chapter will be scanned and emailed to you as a PDF attachment. Requests for articles and chapters can be submitted using the “Request Item through Interlibrary Loan” button on the Encompass record or using the appropriate ILL form.
Interlibrary Loan will be limited to articles and chapters as more libraries are restricting ILL until further notice. Most libraries have been very accommodating about relaxing or extending due dates on materials that have been loaned. To renew interlibrary loan items, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Trexler Library’s librarians will continue to be available for reference and research consultations as classes move online. Whether you have already been working with a librarian on a research project, or are beginning a new assignment, we are available by email, phone, and Zoom. For a full listing of librarians and contact information, please visit the Off-Campus Research Support page.
